What this statement means is that if you work hard, you are sure to succeed in your life and goals. They are, and will in fact get bigger and bigger. To be successful, there is no easier way to achieve your goals, so you have to work hard. Industriousness is the meaning of hard working, or being a diligently person. It also means to be energetic.
Image result for enthusiasmBlock 2: Enthusiasm- ("It is the engine that powers all blocks of the Pyramid. It is why I chose industriousness and enthusiasm as the cornerstones of my Pyramid of Success.") This statement means that you are to be  energetic. You should have a positive mind on everything even if it's a hard situation, there is always a way to solve your problems. Enthusiastic also makes people want to be as happy as you are.
Block 3: Friendship- ("Comes from mutual esteem, respect and devotion. Like marriage it must not be taken for granted but requires a joint effort.") Mutual esteem means that a friend and yourself both make or help each other feel good about themselves. Also the statement means that you both will have respect towards each other as well as devotion. In marriage you should only be married if you are happy with someone and you both have respect for one another.

Block 4: Loyalty- ("To yourself and to all those depending upon you. Keep your self-respect.") This means to be loyal to those depending on you, because you have people counting on you and you can't let them down. Being disloyal is cheating, taking advantage, and backstabbing a person. To be loyal is by being honest, respectful, caring, and trustful. Sometimes everyone's in need of a loyal friend to go to for advice. Also being loyal is supporting someone, helping them, and being a positive side.
Block 5: Cooperation- ("With all levels of your co-workers. Listen if you want to be heard. Be interested in finding the best way, not in having your own way.") Being cooperative is being involved and working toward a common goal. What this statement means is that the meaning of cooperation is to cooperate with your team members or others around you. Also that if you want others to listen to your ideas, you should listen to others as well as you want them to listen to you. To this, you should be interested in what they're talking about, that way they'll pay good interest in you. This will make you a willing collaborator and a active citizen.
Block 6: Ambition- ("For noble goals.") Ambition is a strong desire to do something and achieve something, especially a goal. Another word for ambition is to aim, which means aim for your goal or what you want more in life. To be an ambition person is to fight and manage to accomplish your goals and not let anything bring you down, or try to aim higher than you already are.
Block 7: Self-control- ("Practice self-discipline and keep emotions under control. Good judgment and common sense are essential.") Self-control is the ability to control or regulate one's emotion, thoughts, and behavior. As in you know how to keep yourself in control, like if you are off task, you know when and how to get yourself back. Another example is when someone frustrates you or you do something wrong, you have to have self-control and let it go because you are only stressing yourself out. You have to stay alert if you want to achieve your goals and want to become someone better for yourself. Another thing mentioned is being constant.
Block 9: Initiative- ("Cultivate the ability to make decisions and think alone. Do not be afraid of failure, but learn from it.") Another word for initiative is being independent and having the access to initiate things. Being initiative is a really good thing to have especially when you start your life. For example when you go off to college, and no one asks a question because they're afraid, you should be initiative and ask the question.
Block 10: Intentness- ("Set a realistic goal. Concentrate on its achievement by resisting all temptations. Be determined and persisted.") The meaning of intentness is being able to be sharply focused on something. Intentness is like resisting a temptation. A temptation is something that will distract you from achieving your goals. So the statement is stating to resist what will hold you back from the goals you want to achieve. Although it may be hard to stop the temptation, you have to try your best in order to succeed.
Block 11: Sincerity- ("Keeps friends.") Sincerity means the quality of being free from pretense, deceit, and hypocrisy. A word that is similar so sincerity is honesty and truthfulness. Now the statement says that being sincere keeps your friends, and it does because if you are honest to your friends they will be honest to you. Block 17: Resourcefulness- ("Proper judgement.") To be resourceful is being able to find your way to overcome difficulties. For example, if you are across a path of a maze, find the more cleaver or better way to get around the difficult maze. If an obstacle comes your way and you feel like giving up, then you must stay positive and find a better way around it.
Block 18: Poise- ("Just being yourself. Being at ease in any situation.") To be poise is being graceful and elegant, it also means perfection and fragile. As to the quote, being reliable will bring you the respect of others because they will appreciate every well thing you have done.
Block 21: Fight- ("Determined effort.") This statement is stating that you should fight for what you really want in life. Even though something may seem hard or you feel as if you might not achieve something, you should always fight for what you really want. Instead of thinking you can't do something, you should always say you can and you will. Always strive.
Block 22: Competitive Greatness- ("Be at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge.") To be this is the ability to be at your best, which means that if you are able to be at your best then you should do more than your best, you should go over your limits and reach farther. Block 24: Faith- ("Believe and achieve.") Having faith in yourself is giving you the passion to pursue your dreams or what you really want most. If you have faith in yourself you believe you can accomplish more. Faith will also bring up your self esteem, and hopefully it helps you help others as well, because there are people who just don't believe in themselves.
Block 25: Patience- ("Good things take time.") Having patience is a really hard thing to find in people. For me it takes a lot to get me frustrated or angry. Most people and myself try to hold our temper, but sometimes it maybe a little too hard. Having patience can also help you in a lot of things and help you to get to know people more.
Pyramid of success final reflection: The building blocks can help you become a bigger person, one that is successful. I am applying the poise and patience building block in order for me to be more at ease. These blocks have made me more friendly and less worried. Maybe I can pass the word by speaking to friends or family about how to solve their mental issues.

1. Some things I like about this class was that we got to learn new ways to make a better persons of ourselves. I know that these ways that were learned will follow us in our future. They will greatly impact not only our lives and the way we live, but the other people around us.
2. I wouldn't say I dislike anything, but I was just tired of every class, thus this being the last. Although it was my responsibility to be a good student.
3. One way that I feel we can improve this class is watching more videos, because I am more of a visual learner. I feel like getting to know things better for me is by watching examples of the subject being learned in class.
4. I can consider my highlight of this class being the goals journal. It has helped me become more set and ready on how to accomplish my goals. I even started a new journal, I wrote down goals and every time I will accomplish one I will add a picture of thee accomplishment.
5. Yes, I feel like I did because I gave brief summaries of quotes and statements given to us.
6. I do read my goals almost everyday, because I feel like if I get more into it I know I will become successful in accomplishing them. By reading them I will pick myself up to get my act together.

"The 10 Keys to Personal Power" by Brian Tracy

Key 1: Clarity- ("Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do, or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do.") What this statement means is that you have to have a clear mind, body, and soul. Although everything might be blurry, you must have a clear vision on what you want most. As in, you may have goals that you're not sure of, but you should focus on the ones that are clear and specific to you and your life. What clarity means is being clear and having a clear mind on what your mind and heart is set upon.

Key 2: Competence- ("If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get.") This statement means that if you are a efficient person, you will have a lot of things coming your way. To be competence, means to have the ability to do something successfully or efficiently. What it means by committing to excellence, is that if you do excellent work you will have more opportunities coming to you. If you work hard for what you want in life, you will get better things for yourself.
Key 3: Concentration- ("Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself "is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything.") This statement is meaning that you should be concentrated in what your goals are. When you are concentrated in those goals, you should ask yourself to make sure you are doing the needs as to getting to that goal. Concentration means to have the action or power of focusing one's attention or effort on something. It is important to stay focused on your goals because it is your future that you are fighting and working hard for.
Key 4: Common sense- ("Train your mind, think things through, listen to instructions, learn from setbacks.") This statement inquires for you to have and make common sense. To have common sense is to have wisdom, perception, and insight. Having common sense comes from the past experiences you have been through or faced. And so later in the future you will be prepared and think twice to when you do something, decisions, actions, etc.
Image result for creativityKey 5: Creativity- ("Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions.") To be creative is to use your imagination or original ideas. By using your imagination, you are putting your mind to something great and when you put yourself in something great, greater things will come out of it. This is because the mind is a beautiful thing, and if you put it to good use or express yourself, you will feel great about yourself. And by asking questions only means you are finding yourself.
Image result for consideration
Key 6: Consideration- ("The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life. Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator.")This statement refers to the people around you. As in you should think about the other person and what they need. That you should take consideration in other people as well as your self. To be considerate means to take the thought of other. If someone, for example, is caring a heavy load and can hardly do it, you should consider helping that person.
Image result for consistencyKey 7: Consistency- ("Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast works of sport." "Be consistent in your relationship, your family, friends, boss, your work.")This statement means that when you are consistent you are being fair or dependable. So when you are being fair, people depend that you're going to treat them equal or with respect. For example, shooting a target at the same place constantly, you are being expected to keep on doing the same.
Image result for commitmentKey 8: Commitment- ("No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success." "Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed.")Commitment is telling others that you will be focused on one thing, and make it your only priority. Also it means that you will keep your word and be honest to what you were or are committed. In order to be committed you have to be into your work. In order to accomplish something you must be committed.
Image result for courageKey 9: Courage- ("The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life.") What this quote means is if you have fear of failure, that will most likely be the reason on why you will fail. This quote relates to the statement because you need to have courage that you are capable to what you set your mind to. You need to have courage that you will accomplish the impossible in life. You should have the courage to stand outside the crown, to be a leader not a follower.
Image result for confidenceKey 10: Confidence- ("You only get confidence by making things over and over again.") This means that you have to have a positive attitude for your actions. For example, if you're going to give out a presentation you want to be confident you will nail it and you will do great while presenting. So by saying or repeating to yourself you will do great, it will actually happen.
Reflection: These ten keys can benefit me to be a better and more honest person. It can influence me to become committed and responsible as a upcoming adult. Some keys I will apply are being creative, because I need to be a little more creative to be happy and successful.

7 Habit Video

What we learned in this video is how to make a good personality out of yourself. Having a good character leads up to having a well personality, and having a well personality leads up to making new friends. You can reach your full potential by following the seven habits. The thing is, as he said, do not ask questions on how you're doing in a class, if you simply act and do good things, you should know how you're doing.
